• Dispersed monomorphic population
• Lymphoid cells with scant cytoplasm
• Classical: Monotonous population of small to medium cells
• Blastoid variant: Monotonous population of medium to large cells (resemble lymphoblasts)
• Pleomorphic variant: Heterogeneous population of large cells
• Classical: Irregular nuclear contours with condensed chromatin
• Blastoid variant: Dispersed chromatin
• Pleomorphic variant: Oval to irregular nuclear contours; prominent nucleoli
• Frequent mitoses in blastoid and pleomorphic variants
• Typically positive for Pan-B-cell markers, CD5, Cyclin D1
• Negative for CD10, CD23
• Typically express CD45 (bright), CD19, CD20, CD5, FMC-7; kappa or lambda light-chain restriction
• Negative for CD10, CD23, CD200
• t(11;14)(q13;q32)
