• No glandular formations
• Delicate wispy cytoplasm
• Indistinct cell borders
• Enlarged pleomorphic nuclei
• Coarse chromatin
• Prominent nucleoli
• May have macronucleoli
• Lymphocytes and plasma cells
• Mitoses present
• May have naked tumor nuclei
• Express CK7, CK8, E-cadherin, typically negative for mammaglobin, ER
