Cellular features

• Well-differentiated cells
• Minimal atypia

Nuclear features

• Mild nuclear enlargement
• Fine chromatin
• Inconspicuous to small nucleoli
• May have nuclear irregularity focally
• May have intranuclear cytoplasmic inclusions

Background

• May have naked bipolar nuclei
• May have stromal fragments
• Necrosis rare

Ancillary studies

• Express cytokeratin, CK19, ER, PR, Androgen receptor, may express E-cadherin
