Characteristic granular cells, the granularity of the cytoplasm is a result of numerous cytoplasmic lysosomes. Note the granular material in the background and some along with occasional naked nuclei.

IHC S100 shows cytoplasmic positivity in the tumor cells
Features
• Cellular containing cohesive groups of cells
• Polygonal to elongated cells
• Granular cytoplasm, corresponding to numerous lysosomes present within the cells
• Uniform round nuclei
• Nuclei can be either centrally or eccentrically placed
• Nucleoli present
• Naked nuclei and granular type material
• Naked nuclei resulting from cytoplasmic fragility
• S-100, CD68 are positive. Inhibin and calretinin are also positive
