• Cilia and/or terminal bars
• Clear to pale pink cytoplasm
• Apical cytoplasm
• May show cell to cell molding
• Basal nuclear location
• Uniform nuclei
• Round to oval nuclear shape
• Bland finely granular chromatin
• Inconspicuous nucleoli
• Clean or inflammatory
• No mitoses
• No apoptosis
