Cellular features

• Cellularity varies
• Malignant cells usually larger than background lymphocytes
• Usually high N:C ratio
• Cytoplasm may have melanin

Nuclear features

• Nuclei enlarged, round to oval
• Nuclei eccentrically located
• Bi/multinucleation may be present
• Prominent nucleoli
• May have intranuclear cytoplasmic inclusions
