Features
• Most common benign tumor of the lung
• Presentation: typically solitary, peripheral, and well circumscribed (coin-lesion)
• Benign respiratory epithelium (ciliated, metaplastic)
• Alveolar macrophages
• Other mesenchymal elements: adipose tissue, smooth muscle, spindle cells
• Mature cartilage or immature fibromyxoid material
