• May have acinar or papillary-like architecture
• Cannot differentiate dysplasia in adenomas from invasive carcinoma
• High N:C ratios
• Delicate vacuolated cytoplasm
• Nuclei enlarged, irregular
• Coarse chromatin
• Prominent nucleoli
• Mitosis may be present
• Necrosis may be present
• Express cytokeratin, CK19, CK8, CK7, may express mesothelin, CK20 +/- , CK18 +/- , SMAD4 +/-
